It’s that time again. It’s time to make your New Year’s Resolutions. Well, it’s actually the 3rd, so you might already be breaking them!
I’ve said it before and it still holds true. I don’t make resolutions for the year. It’s just never worked out for me so instead, I do little resolutions at a time. You might just call them “goals.” They’re not as fun, but for me they’re more effective.
According to proactivechange.com, 40 to 45% of us make at least one resolution each year. That’s pretty good until you see just how long they actually make it:
– past the first week: 75%
– past 2 weeks: 71%
– after one month: 64%
– after 6 months: 46%
As you can see, the odds are just not in our favor! So I’ll stay out of those statistics for now. What about you? Do you make Annual Resolutions? What is it this year?
